Leah Bykowy discusses the Child Welfare system. This law student talks about the causes that influence the Child Welfare Service becoming involved with Indigenous children and the lack of trauma-informed care currently in place for parents; she goes on to suggest parent advocates, Aboriginal Courtworkers, and Youth programs on family and parenting as possible resources.
